Bose-Fermi symmetry chain for the description of odd-odd nuclei

Abstract

A Bose-Fermi dynamical symmetry scheme to describe odd-odd nuclei is proposed. A better agreement with the experimental spectra of Au196 and Au198 is obtained as compared to previous studies.
