Transverse Form Factors for C13(e, e)C13(g.s.) and C13(e, e)C*13(15.11 MeV)

Abstract

The transverse form factors are calculated for the reactions C13(e, e)C13(g.s.) and C13(e, e)C*13. It is found that the data for momentum transfers ≲2.2 fm1 can be explained purely in terms of configuration mixing within the 1p shell.
