The existence of the higher nodal states of the $\alpha$+${}_{}{}^{15}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{N}$ cluster structure in ${}_{}{}^{19}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{F}$ is discussed through the analysis of the backward angle anomaly in alpha-particle scattering from ${}_{}{}^{15}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{N}$ at $E_{\alpha }=22, 24, \mathrm{and} 28$ MeV.
