Abstract

Gamma-ray transitions in Hg205 have been observed in the Hg204(t,d)205Hg reaction. A partial level scheme is obtained. Delayed gamma rays exhibiting τm=(1.59±0.06)×103 s are observed; the identification with the decay of the i13/2 neutron hole state is suggested.
