Abstract

The elastic scattering in the B11+12C system was measured at c.m. energies of 5.43, 6.47, and 7.60 MeV in the angular range from 13° to 160° c.m. The analysis, taking into account the interference between potential scattering and direct elastic transfer, led to the value of the asymptotic magnitude of the 1p3/2 proton wave function in C12, =12.9±1.0. A proton spectroscopic factor equal to 2.75±0.4 is obtained for a binding potential with geometrical parameters r0=1.25 fm and a=0.65 fm.
