Abstract

Particle pairs consisting of all combinations of n, p, d and t emitted after π absorption at rest in 6Li were measured for relative angles between 150° and 180°. The results are discussed in terms of sequential reaction mechanisms as well as of cluster absorption. It is shown that both descriptions are inadequate for the majority of data containing composite particles.
