Abstract

The 12C(π,π′γ)12C(2+, T=0,4.44MeV) angular correlation function was measured at Tπ=162MeV. Da taken in the reaction plane for a range of γ-angles at each of two pion angles support recent theoritical predictions using the isobar-hole formalism.
