Abstract

A new supersymmetric scheme has been tested against two previously proposed schemes using data of six platinum isotopes. This new scheme is at least an order of magnitude better, in the least squares sense, than the previous schemes. In this new model, the lack of fit is due almost entirely to the lack of fit for the even isotopes. The fitted parameters show a smooth variation over the platinum isotopes studied.
