C13(p,p)C*13 reaction at Tp=547 MeV

Abstract

Differential cross sections and analyzing powers have been measured between θlab=6.5° and 34.5° for scattering of 547-MeV polarized protons from C13. Data for the ½ (0.0), ½+ (3.09), 32 (3.68), 521+ (3.85), 522+ (6.86), 52 (7.55), ½2 (8.86), and 92+ (9.50) states are presented. The elastic scattering data were analyzed with a potential calculated in the impulse approximation and the resulting distorted waves were used in the distorted-wave impulse approximation analysis of the inelastic data with microscopic transition densities based on shell model wave functions.
