Abstract

Differential cross sections for proton scattering on Mo100 and Cd112 have been measured at Ep=51 MeV. The data are analyzed by coupled channels calculations, with coupling amplitudes taken from the interacting boson approximation. Information on transition potentials is obtained. The reliability of the method is discussed.
