Abstract

The vector analyzing powers have been measured for the H1(d,γ)He3 and the H2(p,γ)He3 reactions at Ex=6 MeV. The results indicate the presence of channel spin 32 capture strength. An M1 strength amounting to between 1 and 8% of the cross section is able to explain the observations if a significant s=32 component is included.
