Abstract

Ground state 2p-2h correlations are explicitly calculated in a completely self-consistent way within the framework of the Tamm-Dancoff approximation using a "universal" effective nucleon-nucleon interaction of the Skyrme type. Their influence on the charge distributions of O16, Ca40, and Ca48 is studied.
