Abstract

Carbon widths have been determined for resonances found in the total reaction cross section of the C12+C12 reaction. A comparison of reduced carbon widths and single particle widths shows that a few resonance states in the energy range 7-12 MeV (c.m.) are possible candidates for a C12+C12 nuclear molecule.
