Abstract

The 3He magnetic moment and form factor are calculated with momentum space wave functions of the three-nucleon ground state based on the Paris and Reid soft-core potentials. The exchange-current contributions arising from π and ρ-exchange and from virtual Δ-excitation are included. They explain only part of the difference between the theoretical one-body prediction and the available experimental data.
