An Improved Determination of the Quadrupole Moment of the First Excited State of ²⁰⁸Pb

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ²⁰⁸Pb(¹²C, ¹²C'), E=75, 90 MeV; ²⁰⁸Pb(¹⁶O, ¹⁶O'), E=80-171.6 MeV; analyzed Coulomb excitation data. ²⁰⁸Pb level deduced static quadrupole moment, B(E3).
