Abstract

Candidates for shape-isomeric rotational bands, relevant to the controversy over anomalous events in relativistic heavy ion collisions, are specified in the spectra of O16, Mg24, Si28, S32, and Ca40. No such band is found in C12, Ne20, and Ar36.
