Abstract
The feasibility of as the detector of the solar neutrino flux hinges upon the knowledge of the Gamow-Teller matrix element from the ground state of to the state at 0.457 MeV in . The possibility of obtaining this matrix element is discussed in terms of the () and (, ) charge exchange reactions.
