Abstract

A band-crossing model based on a microscopically derived ${}^{16}O$ + ${}^{16}O$ potential and the Pauli principle is used to interpret data on ${}^{16}O$ + ${}^{16}O$ reactions to eight inelastic channels. Structures observed in the cross sections are accounted for in all cases.
