Abstract
Angular distributions of the reaction have been measured for from 6.5 to 16 MeV. A comparison of the extracted coefficients with an effective two-body direct calculation indicates a sensitivity to the inclusion of -state components in the wave function. These calculations use bound-state wave functions generated from Faddeev-type equations. The theoretical three-body ground-state wave functions having -state probabilities of 5%-9% () are consistent with the present data.
