Coulomb excitation of Os189

Abstract

Coulomb excitation studies have been performed on an enriched Os189 target with a 56 MeV O16 beam. Gamma rays were measured in coincidence with the backscattered O16 ions. Rotational bands built on 32[512], ½ [510] up to spin 112 have been identified.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Os189(O16, O16′); E=56 MeV, enriched target measured Eγ, Iγ.
