Abstract

A precise elastic electron scattering experiment on 48Ca relative to 40Ca, covering a range in momentum transfer from 0.3 to 3.5 fm−1, is presented. The charge distribution of 48Ca and the charge difference distribution with respect to 40Ca is deduced. Results from proton scattering experiments are used to evaluate the neutron distributions. The experimental findings are compared to former measurements and to HF-calculations. Preliminary results of measurements on the even Germanium-Isotopes are discussed.
