Abstract

Cross sections, and for the first time analysing powers, have been measured in a kinematically complete determination of the 3He break-up on 12C, 27Al and 58Ni targets. A strong dependence of the 3He spin orientation has been found in the elastic channel, particularly for wide separation angles between the deuteron and proton.
