Kinematic Shifts in the β-Delayed Particle Decay of Na20, and the βν Angular Correlation

Abstract

Kinematic shifts of α particles from the β-delayed particle decay of Na20 were measured in a coincidence experiment. βνα triple correlation coefficients were determined. Limits on isospin mixing amplitudes were deduced for states in Ne20. The vector weak-coupling constant was deduced from the superallowed Jπ=2+2+ β decay of Na20 to be GV=(1.365±0.037)×1049 erg cm3.
