Abstract

The atomic-beam, laser-rf double-resonance technique has been used to make precise measurements of the dipole and quadrupole hyperfine constants of the H6,5,43 and F4,3,23 states of the 4f126s2 configuration of Er167 I. The hyperfine integrals r3 are extracted and compared with published ab initio calculations.
