Abstract

We propose a semiphenomenological method of analysis for intermediate energy α-nucleus elastic scattering experiments and demonstrate its usefulness by analyzing available elastic α-nucleus scattering data at 1.37 GeV.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Proposed effective N-α amplitude, analyzed Ca40,42,44,48, C12(α, α), E=1.37 GeV; Glauber model. Sole free parameter target independent.
