Projected quasiparticles calculations in the heavy N=82 isotones

Abstract

Number-projected quasiparticles calculations in the heavy N=82 isotones with 62Z68 have been performed. We discuss in some detail the results obtained for the energy spectra and electromagnetic decay properties of the even-mass isotones Sm144, Gd146, Dy148, and Er150 and the odd-mass isotones Eu145, Tb147, Ho149, and Tm151 and compare them with the results of a seniority-model calculation.
