Abstract

With the aid of an on-line isotope separator the decay of Dy147 to levels in Tb147 was investigated in a series of heavy-ion bombardments of rare earth targets. These data allow us to identify the s12, d32, d52, and g72 proton orbitals in Tb147, a nucleus with one proton beyond the Gd8264146 core.

RADIOACTIVITY Dy147, measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ coinc; Tb147 deduced levels, Jπ.
