From many cases considered it is concluded that the exact shape of the equivalent deep attractive $\alpha -A$ and $\alpha -d$ potentials does not affect appreciably the distorted-wave Born approximation cross section of the $A({}_{}{}^6{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Li}, d)B$ reaction.
