Abstract

The energy dependence of the optical model parameters for low energy, 0-50 MeV, pions was determined by a compromise fit to pionic atoms, π+ elastic scattering, and π absorption measurements.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Pion-nucleus optical potential, elastic scattering and absorption 0-50 MeV on various targets.
