Abstract

Recoil tritons were detected from the elastic electron scattering reaction H3(e,t)e. From these data charge form factors were determined in the range 0.29qμ21.0 fm2. No significant change in the previously reported charge radius for H3 was found.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS H3(e,t), E=77147 MeV, measured σ(E,Er,θr) deduced charge form factor, rms charge radius.
