Abstract
Starting from the nonexponential form of the high energy scattering amplitude introduced by Blankenbecler and Goldberger we derive a closed form approximation which tends to the exact Blankenbecler-Goldberger result for high momentum transfers. The present treatment is patterned closely after the work of Amado, Dedonder, and Lenz, appears to work just as well as their approximate form, and is analytically simple.
