Effect of center-of-mass correlations and intermediate states on π-He3 scattering

Abstract

The effect of center-of-mass correlations and a restriction of the set of intermediate nuclear states have been studied for pion scattering from the mass three system. Results indicate that, for the present, these effects can be ignored.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS He3(π±, π±)He3, He3(π, π0)He3, center-of-mass effects, nuclear correlations, intermediate states, nuclear structure information.
