Search for Delayed α-Decay of High Spin Isomers in Heavy-Ion Induced Fusion Reactions

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ¹²C, ¹⁶O, ²⁴Mg, ²⁷Al, ²⁸Si, ⁵¹V, ⁵⁵Mn, ⁵⁶Fe, ⁵⁸Ni, ⁶³Cu(¹³²Xe, α), E=5.4 MeV/nucleon; ⁵⁶Fe, Zr, Mo, ¹⁰⁰Mo, ^102,104Ru, ¹⁰³Rh, ^{104,106,108,110}Pd, ^107,109Ag, ¹¹²Cd, ¹¹⁶Sn(⁵⁰Ti, α), E=4.8 MeV/nucleon; measured compound nuclear recoil, possible delayed α-emission; deduced no α-decaying high-spin isomers.
