Abstract

The level structure of Hg200 has been intensively studied by the reaction Pt198(α,2nγ), and many new levels have been identified. The results clarify some important aspects of the Hg200 high-spin level structure.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Pt198(α,2n), E=2628 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ(θ), γγ coin; Hg200 deduced high-spin levels, J, π.
