Abstract

We have measured the deep inelastic scattering of O16 + O16 at Ec.m.=32.1 MeV and θc.m.=60110° using the kinematical coincidence technique with a large-angle detection system. We found no evidence for the existence of a low-l window leading to deep inelastic scattering as predicted by time-dependent Hartree-Fock calculations.
