Abstract

Excited levels of Cd103 have been investigated in the Mo94(C12, 3nγ)Cd103 reaction and observed up to 4027 keV excitation energy. A decoupled band, based on the 188.1 keV 72+ intrinsic state has been observed up to spin 192+. An interpretation of the experimental results is proposed in the framework of the axial symmetric rotor plus particle model using deformed self-consistent quasiparticle states.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Mo94(C12, 3nγ), E=4465 MeV; measured Eγ, Iγ, γ(θ), Pγ, C12-γ delay, γγ coin, Cd103 deduced levels and Jπ, Ge(Li) detectors, enriched target.
