Abstract

Mass excess values and energies of excited states were determined for the neutron-rich nuclei Ar46 and K48 and tentatively for Ca51 by use of C14 induced transfer reactions on Ca48.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS Ca42(C14, O16)Ar40, Ca48(C14, O16)Ar46, Ca42(C14, N14)K42, Ca48(C14, N14)K48, Ca48(C14, C11)Ca51; E=67, 75, and 78 MeV; measured mass excess values and excited states in Ar46, K48, Ca51; enriched targets.
