Abstract
A comparison of elastic scattering and total reaction cross-section data in the region of the , 14.7-MeV resonance in + is presented. The comparison provides firm evidence that there is very little background absorption of the partial wave. The implications are discussed. A partial-width decomposition of the resonance is made.
