Abstract

It is shown that when (Li6, d) experimental results are reduced via a distorted-wave Born approximation procedure taking into account the finite size of Li6, the systematic variation in α-particle transfer strengths in the A=20 to A=68 region agrees with recent theoretical strength predictions based on shell-model wave functions.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS DWBA analyses of (Li6, d) reactions on 19 sd- and 17 fp-shell targets. Derived Sα (g.s.). Compared with the shell-model predictions.
