Abstract

Excitation functions have been measured at several angles for the elastic, inelastic, Be8, and α-particle exit channels of the B11+C12 system. Nine resonances are identified in the energy range Ec.m.=9.4 to 17.8 MeV. A comparison with resonance data from the Be8 exit channel of the C12 + C12, C12 + O16, and Be9 + C12 systems is presented.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS C12(B11, Be8), C12(B11, α), and elastic and inelastic scattering, Ec.m.=9.417.8 MeV; measured σ(θ,E); deduced resonances.
