Abstract

The new member of the 2.97-MeV doublet in F20 has a dominant γ decay to a (3) state at 1971 keV, further evidence that the new state has Jπ=(4). The excitation energy is 2968.0±1.5 keV.

NUCLEAR REACTION B11(C13, αγ), E=18.5 MeV; measured Eα, Eγ, αγ coincidences. F20 deduced levels, gamma branchings, J, π.
