H3 and He4 binding energies in the "truncated t-matrix" approximation

Abstract

We study the truncated t-matrix approximation for the triplet nucleon-nucleon interaction in the trinucleon bound state problem, where binding energies are found to be within 8% of the exact result. Numerical results in this approximation for the four-body bound state energy are also quoted.
