Direct Determination of [(sd)3]5212(1p2)01 Component in O17(g.s.)

Abstract

Data for the reaction O17(He3, p) F19 to the predominantly five-particle, two-hole 32+ state at 3.91 MeV in F19 are used to estimate the amount of three-particle, two-hole configuration in O17(g.s.). The result is 4-6%.
