Alpha transfer to O18 with empirical wave functions

Abstract

Wave functions for O18 derived from fits to particle-transfer and γ-decay data have been used in finite-range distorted-wave calculations of the reaction C14(Li7, t)O18. The agreement between experimental and theoretical cross sections is excellent.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS C14(Li7, t)O18, E=20.4 MeV. FR DWBA analysis using empirical wave functions.
