Coupled channels calculations for Si28 + O16 and the energy dependence of the optical potential

Abstract

The systematic energy dependence of recently published surface-transparent potentials is shown to be affected very little by the coupling to the first excited 2+ state in Si28, although the elastic scattering cross sections depend quite strongly on the coupling.
