Abstract

Elastic electron scattering cross sections for He3 were measured relative to those of C12 in the range of momentum transfer squared between 0.032 and 0.34 fm2. The He3 rms charge radius was determined from the data to be 1.89 ± 0.05 fm.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS He3(e, e), E=28.895.0 MeV; measured σ(E) at θ=75°; deduced rms charge radius.
