Abstract

In recent papers (see Fliessbach 1975, 1976) it was shown that a consistent reaction theory requires a modification of the usual definition for alpha spectroscopic factors. A simple formula for the new spectroscopic factors is derived in the framework of the harmonic oscillator shell model. These factors are calculated for a number of light nuclei.
