Abstract

Three resonances in C12 + C12 with Ec.m.(Jπ) of 8.85(6+), 11.2(8+), and 13.75(10+) are reported. Together with earlier data, these resonances fit in a rotational band in Mg24. A model based on the rotation-vibration coupling is proposed to account for these data.
