Search for the reaction $t + t \to α + d e^{-} + \bar{ν}$

Abstract

The ${}^{3}{He} ({}^{3}{He}, {de}^{+} ν) {}^{4}{He}$ reaction has been reported with $σ = 3.4$ nb/(srMeV), at $E_{3_{He}} = 13.5$ MeV. We have searched for deuteron production with ${}^{3}H (t, {de}^{-} \bar{ν}) {}^{4}{He}$ reaction; we find $σ \leq 0.3$ nb/sr, at $E_{t} = 1.4$ MeV.

NUCLEAR REACTIONS ${}^{3}H (t, d e^{-} \bar{ν}) {}^{4}{He}$ , $E_{t} = 1.4$ MeV, measured $σ \leq 0.3$ nb/sr. Implications solar $ν$ rate.
