9Be quasibound states from a refined resonating group calculation

Abstract

Using recently developed analytic methods for refined resonating group calculations, energy levels of 9Be are computed up to 12 MeV excitation energy. The connection between the calculated and the experimental results, the structure of some low-lying levels and the dominant parts of the nuclear forces are discussed.
